We’re not just a listing board. We’re building the infrastructure for grassroots and professional motorsports to thrive online. These modest fees fund the tools, features, visibility, and support needed to help you sell smarter and grow faster.

At RaceTeams.com, we believe in keeping things clear and fair. No hidden costs. No gotchas. We don’t get paid until you sell. Just real value built for racers, teams, suppliers, and fans. Here’s how our pricing works:

Marketplace Service Fees

We charge a flat 10% service fee + 2.9% credit card fee on each transaction completed through RaceTeams.com. These fees help cover the essential costs of operating a safe, scalable, and growing marketplace, including:

· Payment processing and Stripe fees
· Credit card and banking fees
· Website infrastructure and cybersecurity
· Marketing and advertising to bring buyers and sponsors to the platform
· Staff support and platform development

Here is the breakdown:

· Buyer Fee: 0% of the transaction
· Seller Fee: 12.9% of the transaction: Covers credit card fees (2.9%+), fraud protection, service costs, transaction handling, listing exposure, customer reach, and support.

Note: Our fees are in line with (and often lower than) other platforms like eBay, Etsy, and Shopify, which typically range from 10% to 30%. Like them, we use these fees to sustain a healthy, trusted community.

Shipping Costs

If you're purchasing a physical product that requires delivery, shipping charges will be applied at checkout. These costs are calculated based on seller input, carrier rates, and destination. If a listing is designated as local pickup only, no shipping cost will apply. Be sure to review delivery options with the seller before completing your order. We do not make money on shipping; instead, we shop carriers to save our members money.

Additional Costs Reminder

Some listings - especially sponsorships, bookings, services, or customized goods - may include additional costs such as labor, materials, travel, installation, or activation fees.

Buyers are encouraged to ask the seller up front about any potential add-ons before committing to purchase. RaceTeams.com is a platform and not a broker, so all expectations between buyer and seller must be clear before payment. We do not earn revenue from these additional fees that sellers charge.
